Why Ghana

Ghana, the first Sub-Saharan African country to get independence in 1957, is characterized by its stable political environment with established democratic institutions, a high degree of personal safety and systems to ensure good governance of the country. By consequence Ghana had the chance over the years to build on a comparatively well-developed infrastructure, internal and external communications as well as sea and airport facilities.  Its strategic and central location within West Africa provides access to the ECOWAS market with an estimated population of nearly 300 million people.
